What Does this thyroid Test Result Mean?

I recently had my thyroid test and the report says: T.S.H - 5.44 FT4 - 1.03 Comment: suggesting thyronormalcy Now my question is what is meant by this suggesting thyronormalcy ?? Should I start treatment?? & I am under a homeopathic treatment for poly cystic ovaries... Now what should I do??

Hi...Can understand your concern... As per your query about your thyroid function test,report says that TSH(thyroid stimulating hormone secreted ty pituitary gland) & free thyroxine which is secreted by thyroid gland are under their normal ranges and you shouldn't worry.Any increase or decrease in ranges of these hormones can manifest many other health problems for which you have been suggested a thyronormalcy test.No treatment is needed regarding thyroid hormones.But I would suggest you to consult your physician about the reports and polycystic ovarian syndrome by having an ultrasonography.I hope this information helps you.Take care.
